What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
Control is important in frisbee golf. If you are looking for a disc you can trust, the MD3 is recommended.
The MD3 is a fast midrange that gives you opportunities for longer throws with more control than you would get with a driver. The MD3 also holds lines very well, so if you go for a hyzer or anhyzer cast, it will hold the line throughout the float. If you give the disc enough power, you will be able to throw the MD3 perfectly straight. Perfect for long, tight woods holes, or other places where precision is important.
Recommended uses:
Hyze and anhyze inputs
Straight casts

C-Line plastic:
C-Line is Discmania's most durable type of plastic. The plastic wears in very slowly and thus retains its original flying properties for longer. The C-Line plastic withstands a lot of beating without sustaining any damage. If you play forest courses or courses where the disc takes a lot of beating, this is the type of plastic you are looking for. C-Line is transparent, has a good grip and is usually the most stable plastic type from Discmania.

This review is for the new Swedish C-Line blend. Plastic feels really good. Very much like a lot of your transparent plastics. I'd say it is more stable than what the numbers suggest. Not overstable, but definitely not a 0,1. Closer to a 0,2. If you're arm speed is slower it will be a moderately stable mid range. If you've got a big arm it might get closer to the original flight numbers. I still really like the MD3. Good glide and can handle torque pretty well. It's just a really solid mid range. From the moment I grabbed an MD3 I had a connection with it. It remains one of the most dependable discs in my bag, from Innova-molded to Discmania molded, it has remained a mainstay for me. Currently bagging 3: A DM-molded CLine which is a tick overstable and a mild dome (but not as OS as the MD5, which I also carry), a beat in IS4 (Chroma plastic is SOOOO nice) which has a nice straight, pushing flight, and an old Innova SLine which is nicely understable and holds wonderful anny-flights. Between these 3, the new MD5 and the new SLine MD3, I have all of my desired midrange flights covered. LOVE IT! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Summary: It's just great at everything. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
I am in love with my MD3s. Yes, that is plural. I've got an 8 in the C-Line plastic (or variations), both old Innova penned ones and newer Discmania MD3s. To me, this disc flies very true to the numbers with some slight variances to them. I've got 2 blue domey ones that are the most stable and 2 glow ones that are less stable, and the rest fly somewhere in between. All in all the difference isn't worth a difference in flight numbers, but all of them are money. I love the micro bead as it's not big enough to get in the way, but it just locks my power grip into place for maximum control. If you haven't found a mid that you love it's because you haven't tried the MD3. Excellent disc with all of the control in the world. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
