What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
If you need a predictable and reliable driver? Then you should try Innova's Hawkeye. "This is a disc to stay on the fairway," says designer Dave Dunipace. If you throw it hard it will have enormous glide, and if you have less arm speed it will have a reliable but careful fade.

The Hawkeye recently made the bag as I have been searching for that Neutral Fairway. I have tried several other discs in this slot, River, FD, Leopard3, Crave, and so on. This one fits the bill the best so far for me. I have been testing it against a Star Leopard3 that I have and I prefer the Hawkeye. They have similar flights, but the Leopard3's rim is oddly sharper? Specifically the underside where the tips of my fingers go. I'm not sure if it's just the one I have or what, but the Hawkeye's underside is definitely smoother and I get super clean releases on it. It is definitely very straight with a small fade at the end. Depending on your arm speed, this can flip up on a baby hyzer and just ride. The Hawkeye is one of the few 7 speeds I can get out to 300 ft reliably. I would love to try it in Halo and GStar to see how the plastics affect the flight. Super solid disc. The got Champion Metal-Flake Philo Tour Series version. This is a great neutral fairway driver. It's slightly faster and slightly more stable than its numbers suggest. 8, 5, 0, 1 seems more correct to me. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
Domey disc that feels like a faster version of the panther, but flies like a Titanium Buzz with more glide. Perfect point and shoot disc that resists turning or fading aggressively. Perfect for tunnel shots. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Just a quick update to my previous review. I don't know if my disc suddenly broke in or if my armspeed suddenly improved, but I'd like to rectify my last review as this disc is flying different since then . (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
I have the halo star Hawkeye and compared to the c line FD, the halo Hawkeye is a touch more stable and more torque resistant. They have similar feels but I prefer the Hawkeye simply because it is produced in Halo Star plastic. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
