What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
The Prodigy D1 is a very fast overstable distance driver made for players with a lot of power. It is suitable in all weather conditions and is very reliable in headwinds. It has a very consistent flight which makes it a first choice when you need both distance and control. It has the same flight regardless of weight.
Recommended areas of use:
Throw with maximum distance
Spike hyzer
Throw into the wind
Flight rating:
Speed: 13
Glide: 5
Turn: 0
Fade: 4
400 plastic:
400 is a premium plastic that both has excellent grip and is extremely durable. The plastic breaks down slowly over time and the grip holds even in wet weather.

The D1 is a pretty classic feeling overstable distance driver. Compared to the D2 it is much more similar to distance drivers that you would find from other companies. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The D1 is one of the best distance drivers for big arms and advanced players. It has a wider rim than a destroyer and is slightly deeper but has a much better flight. I was a destroyer guy before my friend showed me the D1 and now my only distance driver in my bag is the D1, currently bagging 5 of them. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
The D1 was quite an interesting disc, I have thrown a 400 plastic D1 that was quite beefy and now I bag a 500 D1 that is a very workable stability. It does not fly exactly how the flight numbers would have you think. I was able to flex it 360' which is not bad for me on the 3rd throw of it. It will hold a flat line for 3/4 of its flight before it has a strong fade and bite at the end. I expected the D1 to be extremely overstable and have little to no glide with my armspeed, but was surprised. If you can push close to 400' you should be able to get a nice overstable but useable shot out of the D1. I have heard the new 500 retooled D1's are extremely overstable so if you are looking for something really overstable check those out or reach out to some prodigy throwers, they may know some super overstable runs of D1's. I think I could push this disc out to 400'+ if I get it on a good rip and it'll be one of my furthest throws ever. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
My last review of this disc was pretty off, so I'm going to try to do my best this time. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Somewhat disappointed in the negative turn, if thrown on 20% anhyzer, it'll take awhile to come back. Also didn't know Prodigy manufactures in china.... won't be buying prodigy again for that reason. Other than that, it's an OK driver (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
