What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

The Prodigy D3 is a very fast and stable distance driver designed for players of all skill levels. Experienced players will be able to throw the disc at a given launch angle, and the D3 is designed to hold it. The D3 is undersized but offers a soft finish, which will also appeal to beginners looking for a distance driver with maximum length.

-Reviewing in the 400 plastic- out of the D1, D2, and D3, the D3 is my favorite prodigy distance driver that I've tried. This disc does have a wide rim, but the flight of it is a great combination of glide and stability. Full power throws backhand or forehand, it bombs with a slight s shape and fade. It even holds up well in the wind. Very underrated driver imo (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

I have a 400 D3 that I got used so this review is more for the D3 when it gets beat in. The D3 is definitely an understable thrower but especially when it gets very beat in. I am able to hyzer flip to a turnover that will only come out of it if there is a lot of air under it or a tail wind. I was expecting the disc to fight back after the flip up but it never did and just likes to ride really far. I think by adding more hyzer I will find something that bombs with a full S-flight. I think a fresh D3 will be a lot more stable but still will be able to get some flip based on me throwing this with a slower speed. I would recommend the D3 to anyone who is not a power player and more intermediate players who need to utilize the discs flight to get that extra distance. I love the feel of the D3 in the hand, and the 400 plastic is up there for my favorite premium plastic. If you need something you can beat in to get a great full S-flight, look no further than a D3 and if you have big distance come to the D3 for some great hyzer flip to anhyzer holding bombs. Pretty good disc, it has a very wide rim so if your hands are pretty small I'd look elsewhere. A note for beginners, I have a 350 avg arm with some extra distance if the throw is good. When I got the D3 it was a meathook. However, it beat in pretty good to a hyzer flip disc. I'd recommend if you have avg to slower arm speed. To get this in 400 plastic. If you get premium plastic you'd likely won't get the desired flight path for a long time if ever. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

The 350g plastic has a great feel, tacky and flexible yet durable and feels even better when seasoned. I throw the D3 for RHFH shots that I want to hold turn for a long time yet reliably fade back. Mainly I use this disc on long open holes when I'm looking for max distance. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
