What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
DX plastic:
The DX plastic provides superior grip that works well in most weather conditions. The plastic wears in gradually, which gives new and varied flying characteristics. This is the most affordable plastic model and it is offered in a wide selection of weights and disc models.

The quintissential beadless putter. I putt with beaded putters so it doesn't feel right to me, but for any new player this disc should feel similar enough to a catch disc that they can work with it, and it remains the putter of choice for many top players. Skip the fancy plastic with these and just get DX. (Nivå på anmelder: Profesjonell)
For Context I bag 2 175g DX Aviars as my putting putters, I never use these as throwing putters. My putting style is primarily spin putting, and I don't putt super hard as I like the disc to float into the basket. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The R Pro Aviar is my all time favorite disc for approach shots from the fairway. I don't have the arm speed to throw a driver 350 ft so most of my second shots from the fairway are 150 ft or less. This is my go to disc in those situations. It feels great in the hand and when it lands it does'nt skip away but because of it's soft texture it kinda grabs the ground and rolls in a tight circle and stays put!! Once you get your distance dialed in this disc is money!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
Summary: A fantastic putter that can grow with you. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
The Aviar is the standard by which other 2301 discs are measured against. And for good reason. I got this in a starter set like many others, and used it for a long time. I've gone through a handful of putters over my time, but always loving the ones that are clearly modeled after the Aviar. I don't love the DX plastic, but the shape is very comfortable.
