What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.
The Latitude 64 Ballista is a fast overstable driver with high speed. It is described as an overstable driver that will also show a small amount of spin for the advanced disc golfer.

Good disc just doesn't quite fit in my bag. Primarily flick player throw 400 feet. Too stable for my neutral to slightly stable driver and too understable for my over stable distance driver. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
I got a Ballista Pro as a gift, and while it bombs and it went right into my bag, I needed something to compliment it that was a little more workable. Because it's a "pro" model, I decided the first logical place was to go to the orginal Ballista and wow this disc is amazing! Despite the speed 14, the rim feels comfy in the hand and Opto is great feeling plastic. At 400-420' of power (and at sea level), it slowly flips up to flat, turns a bit, and has a reliable fade. A lot of other underestable high speed drivers tend to flip quickly with a lot of lateral movement, but the Ballista takes its time turning which yields big distance. I'd highly recommend this disc for anyone with 375-425' of distance! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
VERY UNDERRATED DISC! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
When my son lost my starter set distance driver, I went online to find a replacement or two. Not fully understanding the meaning of speed ratings yet, I picked up two 14-speeds -- including the Ballista. I've been told that Lat64 speeds aren't necessarily equivalent to those of other companies, so maybe the 14 was more like a 12? At any rate, this flew very well for me from the outset and was probably neck-and-neck with a 150g Wave as my farthest drivers. Unfortunately the cheaper plastic led to a beat-in and (very) beat-up state all too soon, and the understability has been tricky to work with for the past couple seasons; however, if I can find the right balance of hyzer release, throwing speed, and wind direction, this still gives me my best distance in many instances. It has also become a rather natural roller disc now as I've tried to add that type of shot to my repertoire. I may get another in a better plastic and see how that serves me. I love the Ballista Pro Gold-X. Just got this disc as I needed a longer flight with reliable fade. I'm still working on my distance but throw RHBH average of 375'. This is my first 14 speed and expect this to be a bomber max distance thrower as my arm speed progresses. However, I didn't get the Ballista for pure distance, it fills a spot in my bag just above my DD Captain and Hades when I need some distance but also need that reliable sharp fade. Give it a try as its versatile for long distance throwers or as utility disc when you need that sharp fade at the end. The Gold-X is very stable, but I'm expecting it to break in eventually and be able to flex it out and get that max distance. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
