What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Is distance only for the professionals? No. Welcome the first distance disc in the "Easy-to-Use" series for the Latitude 64. It's light, fast but still has good grip and control. Sapphie is designed to be the perfect companion to Diamond, our most popular "East-to-Use" disc.

With Sapphire you get extra distance and stability compared to Diamond. It has a thin profile for consistent releases.

My favorite backhand flip up turnover shot. Use it for uphill or tunnel shots that have room to fade right. Good for women, children and old guys.... LOL. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

I'm new to disc golf. I've got 15-20 rounds of the local 9 hole course under my belt, with just a few other out of town courses smattered in as well. I got hooked on disc golf because I had a knack for throwing forehand. I've come to realize though that my forehand has become a bit of a crutch and is limiting my game. So despite being pretty abysmal at backhand I resolved to get better. I picked up a Sapphire this past week to facilitate my resolution. Despite a few errant throws these past few days with the Sapphire, things started clicking for me and this disc after just a couple of rounds. I credit part of my success to the disc's purported beginner friendly nature which is what inspired me to pick one up in the first place. It seems very forgiving and doesn't seem to be inclined to leave the fingertips too nose up or down. Without too much practice and a whole lot of luck, I wrapped today's round up with my longest backhand drive and possibly the best shot I've had to date. My drive with the Sapphire sailed 300' landing directly under the basket on my local course's second to last hole. Good for birdie. Still trying to figure this disc out for forehand but it's seemingly opening the doors to a whole new aspect of the game for me. It's fun to get equipment that inspires you to get out and play more often! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

This disc was one of my first introductions into Distance drivers back whe I started playing in 2020. I would say the numbers are pretty accurate, flippy, but not uncontrolable. If you're new to the game, this would make a wondrful addition to your bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I really want to like the Sapphire and maybe I just need to throw it a little more. It flies well but seems to be quite a bit more overstable than the numbers suggest. I am at 5000' of altitude which is definitely a factor in its stability and probably bumps the speed rating up as well.  When driving with this disc, I really need to concentrate on a clean, flat release. When I throw it correctly (RHBH), it is rewarding and has a predictable fade. When thrown too high or with any hyzer angle at all it will really take off to the left with a ton of fade.
