What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

From 240' and in this thing is money! The slow speed and low glide make this a very usable disc. Give it the power you want and it goes that far and just sits. It doesn't really seem to be bothered by the wind either. In my experience the Luster Plastic seems to be the one closest to the advertised flight numbers. The Halo one I just got is point and shoot with very little low speed fade. The hand feel is very similar to the Judges that I started out with. I couldn't be happier. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
Hands down my favorite throwing putter just a touch more stable then the bullfrogs! Or just a thumbtrackless rhyno with more glide!! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
I have the Invader in Luster, Star, Halo Star, Nexus, and DX. While most people use it as a thrower, I bag it for both throwing and putting. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The Invader is the best straight upshot throwing putter out there for 200 to 220 feet from the pin. Throw it on any angle and it will hold it and slowly move to the ground. The low glide is excellent cause you can put the power on it to reach the pin, yet don't have to be worried about it getting floaty and going way past the pin. Great in any plastic, but the Star has superior grip to DX and Luster. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
I have this mold in two plastics, Luster Champ and DX. I picked it up for two reasons - one was it has one of the sickest stamps out there. Two was the flight numbers and profile. I'm a fan of beaded discs, and a flat, low profile, beaded putter with these flight numbers sounded like a great thrower to try. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
