What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Polecat only has 1 in speed, which means that you can trust that it will not hover far past the curve. It has 0 in fade which allows you to shape any line you want in a short distance.

Polecat has a unique shape with a deep bead. It is designed to fly slowly through the air and lie quietly next to the "pole".

Recommended uses:
Approach
Hyzer, anhyzer and straight throws

Flight rating:
Speed: 1
Glide : 3
Turn: 0
Fade: 0

Star-plastic:
Star the plastic wears in slowly and predictably and provides long-lasting durability. It gives you a good grip in all kinds of weather and is a good choice for those who like the durability of the Champion plastic and the grip-friendly Pro plastic. Star the plastic retains its properties longer than DX and Pro plastic.

I bought a used Halo polecat, but it never really made my bag. I tried it a few times, but it doesn't seem to do much that I can't do with a regular neutral putter. I also think the mold feels terrible (pretty unique lid shape) even though the plastic is nice. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

A while back I was gifted a Dx Polecat when I was first getting into disc golf. It was my go to finese-upshot-putter. Then I decided to see how it would be as a boat. As it sank to the bottom of the lake I knew I had to have another one. It took me a couples years before I found another one for sale. It was the halo-star. This disc is my favorite putter for up shots. When thrown slow and soft it will hold a straight line or whatever angle you put on it. When thrown with more power it will turn understable and is great for 200-250ft anhyzer shots. Most people clown on this disc. They see me pull this out and chuckIe to themselves. I love the look on their faces, a look of awe-struck flabergastedness, as they witness the most elegant and graceful flight known to man. Hopefully I dont lose this one, becuase it will be another set of world wars and $100 before I find another. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Way back in the day, before this mold became a meme disc and I was just a dsic golf noob, I bagged this as my primary putting putter. Really I only carried 3 molds back then - a Pro Beast for a driver, a DX Spider for mid, and a DX Polecat to putt. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Dx Polecat - Overall a very fun disc. It flies straight and really does hold any line you put it on. 3.5 stars because it is a little weird and doesn't consistently go in the bag. But it is very fun and goes very straight. It would be a great disc for form work I think. It tells you if you put at off axis torque on it or your have weird releases. I think it could be a good training tool possibly. It also could be useful just for short bids at the basket from the 80-120 foot range. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
