What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Overstable driver that works very well in headwinds.

Firebird is Innova's most popular upwind driver. The combination of speed and stability makes it possible to throw into strong headwinds without being afraid of losing control of the disc. An excellent disc for long flex throws and also a favorite for forehand and thumb throws. This is a disc you will find in the bag of many of the pros.

Best in it's category by far, reliably overstable, low glide, great for forehands and backhands. Excellent all around. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

The Firebird is just the best forehand disc on the market for what it is intended to do, full stop. I opted for Champion plastic to increase its overstability as much as possible and increase its skip potential and both work as intended. If you need a disc to turn a corner or get you out of a jam by throwing a flex shot, this is the one. There's a reason everyone uses 'em...join in! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I have the "Firebread" stamp which I think is hilarious. I ordered two, both 173-175g. They are significantly less stable than some other firebirds that I have thrown and have quite a bit more of a shoulder dome. I still love these for both forehand and backhand, and can get a bit of turn and still that reliable firebird fade. This disc is my go to for 240-275 forehand shots and 280 backhand where I need a really reliable fade at the end. One of the most thrown discs in my bag and even with this oddly understable run I will always still bag them. I did purchase a very flat draco to be my absoulte meakhook though. Great overstable driver, I don't use mine for a lot of distance, but when i get in the wind i throw it all day with confidence that it will always come back and stick. It can be used for big hyzer shots to get over or around stuff and can be used for flare shots when thrown flat and just let it do its thing. I couldn't recommend a better windy day driver. Favorite forehand driving disc by a long shot. Have a fairly beat-in firebird that I love for driving off the tee, feels very nice coming out of the hand and not too high of speed (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
