What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

The Distortion is an overstable approach disc in the Prodigy Collabs series. It was created in collaboration with Kevin Jones. It has a smooth, rounded feel and a slightly slimmer profile than putters traditionally used for putting. It has the overstable characteristics Kevin was looking for in a reliable approach disc, and will finish against the curve consistently. Distortion is comfortable whether you're going backhand or forehand, and you'll quickly see why it's Kevin's favorite when he's looking to find his way to the green.

Distortion is perfect for you with a bit of gunpowder in your arm, who wants a disc that you can trust won't freak out. The disc may resemble discs such as Harp, Zone or Gator, but is probably a bit more overstable as new.

As it has been already been said, but this is prodigy's version of a zone. I actually prefer the distortion because it is a little deeper feeling and slightly less overstable. I've noticed that the more dome they have, the more overstable the tend to be. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

I have always mostly bagged MVP produced discs but as a huge fan of Kevin Jones, I had to try out this disc. It was really nice! I loved the way the plastic felt and the flight was nice too. It flew similar to a Zone or a Harp but with better glide and slightly softer finish. Unfortunately, I lost it in the tall grass near the end of my one and only round with it. The Distortion is a slim, stable approach disc. For me, this filled the slot the Dynamic Discs Suspect used to be in- not a meaty overstable disc, but a jack-of-all approach disc. It is slim in the hand, beadless, and comfortable to grip for backhand and forehand. Mine is a mango color with a slight puddle top. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

The distortion is 100% the Prodigy's version of a zone. I felt like the hand feel was one of the closest to the zone, the flight was almomst an exact match to the zone, and the abilities of this disc match what you want out of a zone. I think the 400 plastic is one of the best, if not the best, plastic that Prodigy is making right now. It is gummy but not overly gummy and stiff enough to get a great grip on every throw. I think they hit it with this disc and I know a lot of people will gravitate towards this disc. If you throw zones or other zone type discs but want to try a prodigy version check out the distortion. I think they were best for any approach shot where you need an anhyzer forehand or just a regular hyzer backhand or forehand within 150 feet. It can get some ground action if you need it but it does not like to skip crazy hard if you land it flat. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
