What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Essence is a "do-it-all" fairway driver in the Evolution line. Due to its understable characteristics, it is well suited to players who are looking for their first distance driving backhand, or a technical forehand throw. Although it is recommended for beginners and advanced players, many more established players will probably find it useful for large anhyzers or roller casts.

Lux Vapor Plastic:
Lux Vapor is very similar to the Neo plastic of Discmania, which suggests a very durable plastic type. What distinguishes it from Neo is that Lux Vapor is not transparent and perhaps a hint less overstable.

I love the Essence. It's so workable and is a glide machine. Nailing tight lines in the woods is where this disc really shines for me. Ams will find this disc to be a maximum distance driver and big arms will be able to use it as a roller. Everyone can use this disc. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

The Essence is an understable fairway driver that is great for any arm speed. It is a great disc for beginners to learn how to throw drivers, on the other hand it is a super easy hyzer flip machine for more advanced player, and even the likes of Eagle McMahon bags it for rollers and crazy hyzer flip shots. Overall, the Essence is a solid driver. In the Meta Plastic for the Zen, would consider it more geared towards beginners who want a reliable and predictable disc that will fly stable to overstable. For higher speed arms, though, this disc is pretty touchy and can get easily abused by wind. The first few throws I had with it, I fell in love with the flight and immediately took it into my bag in place of my Undertaker. Now, after getting more time with it, I may switch it out. It's a good disc, but it's slight unpredictability for my arm speed may have me going back to ol trusty undertakers again. Let me reiterate: the disc feels goof and flies great: it just may require a bit of learning if you are someone who likes to throw with a good deal of force and snap.
