What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?
The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.
All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.
We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".
What weight should I choose?
What weight should I choose?
Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.
Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.
If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

my go-to midrange dead straight. whatever angle you hold it on it will stay. definetly reccomend the halo star mako3. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The Star Mako3 is the perfect disc for beginners. It is also fantastic for doing fieldwork or working on form. I use it for woods shots that hyzer flip to flat or that need a very late turn. It is an extremely workable midrange that can be manipulated to hold any line required. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
Very easy to get nice, consistent flights from this disc and unless you put a bit of hyzer on it, it just goes straight with no drama. Love using it for narrow fairways (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
The absolute straightest-flying and most consistent disc I have ever thrown in my life. Granted, that sample size is about 10 discs, but I digress. As long as you throw it flat, it WILL fly straight. Perfect for short, straight drives and approach shots, super easy to use, and even after a solid 4-5 months of me bricking power shots straight into trees, it flies almost perfectly straight. Great disc for tight fairways. If you are using it for touch approaches, it will have a slight fade finish. Like a .5 or 1. If you put the stank on the mako it will get some decent turn and then fight back a touch. Not my main midrange but in the bag for lazer beam straight or turnover shots (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
