What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Toro is an overstable put & approach disc that is Innova's new answer to Discraft's super popular Zone. It is a very reliable over-stable disc suitable for all conditions. Often used for technical and powerful approaches for both forehand and backhand players.

Calvin Heimburg himself has helped develop this disc. It is so "torque-resistant" that it can handle his powerful throws. This means that it takes a lot to tour the disc.

Star plastic:
Star the plastic wears in slowly and predictably and provides long-lasting durability. It gives you a good grip in all kinds of weather and is a good choice for those who like the durability of the Champion plastic and the grip-friendly Pro plastic. Star the plastic retains its properties longer than DX and Pro plastic.

Ideal forehand approach disc. Flat top, durable plastic but has some grip. Will retain flight characteristics for years. Must have for players who like to throw hard but lack touch on their short game. (Nivå på anmelder: Profesjonell)

Money - switched from Champion to Halo Toro recently. For context - I was a zone thrower before. Halo grip on a backhand is superior. It's still super stable and feels great in the hand. These signature Calvin's are the perfect approach disc. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

I have used both a star (175 grams) and champion (172 grams) Toro as my primary overstable approach disc. In both plastics, the disc is fairly puddle topped. While I use the Toro for some backhand shots, I find it much more comfortable on a forehand. As for the flight of the disc, it is consistantly overstable, no matter the conditions. I have found the star plastic slightly less glide than my champion version, but that might simply come down to differences between runs. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

A slam dunk from Innova. Nice overstable approach disc. Very similar shape to a Discraft Zone but a bit taller, which makes it slower. Reliable, accurate, and great plastic (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

The disc definitely has positive turn when not thrown like an Ape. When thrown at its speed you'll see it start to veer gently off its line while maintaining forward momentum and then transition into its fade. Despite the positive turn, it's super responsive to holding anhyzer power flex shots. Seems to want to glide just a little more than a Gator to me, but with a much smoother flight path. Great backhand or forehand. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
