What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Nuke OS is an extremely overstable version of the popular max speed disc Nuke. It is a distance driver that is perfect to use to get maximum distance for experienced players, as well as for throwing in strong headwinds

Recommended uses:
Maximum distance
Spike hyzer
Throw into headwind

Flight rating:
Speed: 13
Glide : 4
Turn: 0
Fade: 4
Stability: 2.2

ESP plastic:

ESP has a fantastic grip combined with very good durability. It gives you the "best of both worlds" when it comes to plastic. It is slightly less overstable than Z-plastic.

An out of the box bomber. Very nice feeling distance driver in the hand. The rim supposedly is very wide but I don't find that to be an issue. It has a shallow rim compared to say, a destroyer, but it isn't so shallow like a latitude 64 grace, Innova katana, dynamic discs captain, or lone star curl. So it basically is in the sweet spot of rim depth. This is not a disc for fighting head winds, but otherwise it bombs. One of the better understable distance drivers in my experience (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

Great for max distance for slower arms. If I release this flat it will have a big flipping turn and soft hyzer finish. That said the high number of high-speed turn makes this disc touchy for those shots that need a specific shape or will be affected by the wind. When you don't catch its sweet spot in your release. The Nuke SS can provide a mile-long gorgeous S-curve drive for intermediate players, and because of its significant turn (-3), it's not necessarily out of reach for many new players. In fact, beginners might find surprisingly long distances from an X-line Nuke SS, which tends to have more glide than Discraft's more durable plastics. This disc has an extra wide rim which can take some getting used to, but if you can get it up to speed, the Nuke SS will provide extra distance above and beyond what most players can achieve with an Innova Wraith or Destroyer. Got sick the other week and ordered WAY too many discs while stuck at home. One of the sets of discs I picked up was the Nuke SS. With a speed of 13, I didn't think I'd have the arm speed to throw it, but... I was sick and not thinking right so I ordered it. Turns out... I can throw this disc pretty far for my arm! The first round I took it out I kept struggling to find my discs on blind shots because they were further than I'm used to looking by a good chunk! The glide out of this disc is phenomenal, it just wants to keep going! I also thought the fade wasn't that bad either. My new go to driver for covering max distance. Disc Comparisons as a RHBH player: ESP Thrasher 170 - Surprisingly this was a bit more over stable than the Nuke. My thrashers are not domey at all though. Prefer the Thrasher into a headwind over the Nuke SS. ESP Heat 172 - Way less speed, a chunk less glide, and notably more flippy for me. Prefer it in a tailwind. ESP Glide 167 - Similar flip to the Nuke SS, but will hold the flip longer and keep gliding. Less flip than the Heat but better hold. Prefer it when I need to cover maximum distance traveling left to right. Z Mantis 172 - Less distance, less glide, more overstable. For when I need to go left, but don't want to fall out of the sky like I will with a regular Nuke. Prefer it in the wind, prefer it when I have to stay left at all costs. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I have a beat in Nuke SS and let me say... THIS THING FLIPS! It's almost scary how much it flips. The angle I have to release on almost seems unreal to me at times. Whether bh or fh I release this disc nearly vertical, pointed at the ground. (I feel like Hokum when I throw a forehand) If I release it anywhere close to flat it is turning over into oblivion. That being said when I force myself to give it what feels like too much hyzer it flips up and flys FAR! So far that I am interested in a regular Nuke or Nuke OS for windy conditions and to see if I can throw just as far with a flatter release. The ratings are pretty accurate but mine seems to have less fade, seems to finish closer to where it flips up rather than fighting back in line with where it was thrown. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
